UPS battery backups and a separate router have been installed to help stabilize multiple Genie 2 units.
Each Genie 2 supports up to 7 TVs at once. A maximum of two Genie 2 and 14 TVs can have DirecTV in one home. There is an added fee for over 7 TVs in the home.
