There is not an insurance contract with the POA vendor for DirecTV equipment. Unfortunately, the homeowner will need to pay for the replacement of the equipment. It is important that the new homeowner ensure they have the DirecTV equipment included in their home at closing otherwise the new homeowner will need to purchase new equipment.
