The POA has contracted with Weber Environmental Services for landscaping. They are responsible for mowing; trimming of hedges, palm trees and trees; and, maintaining irrigation on all lots within the community (POA member’s property and POA land).
The landscaping contract is a maintenance contract. Mulch, hardwood tree trimming over 8 feet, palm tree trimming over 12 feet, plant or sod replacement is NOT included and is billed separately.
The following is what is included in the Landscaping Contract:
- weekly mowing – 6 months a year (Spring & Summer),
- every other week mowing 6 months a year (Fall and Winter)
- edging of walkways and paved area twice a month
- each house’s irrigation system inspected once a month
- palm trees are trimmed up to 12 feet
- the lower limbs of the hardwood trees are removed if lower than 8 feet
- weed killer is applied once a month
- once a month the bushes/shrubs are trimmed
- fertilization is done three (3) times a year
According to the association documents the association is responsible to maintain but not replace.
The CDD has their own landscaping contractor for their property (for example, around the entrance gates).
