Introduction
Homeowners can have access to the Reunion West QR Code system. Each access gate at Reunion West has a kiosk with a QR reader. After registering (described below), you can issue yourself and your guests a QR code. To raise the security gate, you simply place the QR code next to the reader and the gate will raise.
Uses of the QR Code System.
Our QR code access program uses a software program known as ABDi Gate Access. By registering for ABDi Gate Access you will be able to do the following as a homeowner:
- You can send a QR code (electronic pass) directly to your guests via email or text
- You can enter who and when your guest will arrive at the resort. You can also enter a departure date after which the QR code will no longer be recognized.
- You can issue a temporary QR code to a vendor such as an electrician, plumber, etc.
- You can elect to receive automatic arrival notifications of your guest’s arrival via email, text message and/or push notifications.
- You can view a report on who you have granted QR code access to the community.
Registration
To gain access to this system, you need to contact admin@reunionwestpoa.com. Our POA team member will then give you a temporary Username and Password (which you will need to change after logging in for the first time).
After receiving your credentials, log into ABDi at gateaccess.net.
Our Community Code is: RW
Registering guests will be self-evident after you login. The system also has multiple “help features” to assist you in registering guests. If you have questions, send them to admin@reunionwestpoa.com. Please be patient. This is a new system for us in 2023 and some unique situations may take a few days to resolve.
Does the guest install ABDi Gate Access?
No, the guests do not install Gate Access. Gate Access is only for the homeowners. The guests get texted or emailed a QR code for their stay.
How long does the QR code work?
The QR code works for only the duration of the guest arrival and departure dates that you enter in gateaccess.net.
Can I use the QR code as a homeowner if I do not have a RDIF hangtag?
Yes, a QR code can be made for anyone from guests, property managers, cleaners, vendors, maintenance people, and even homeowners.
What are the RFID hang tags?
For information on using RFID hang tags to access the community, see the following article. How to get a car mirror hang tag to access the gates with my car if I am an owner, vendor or property manager?
